"to lessen waste"
Echo gives an eco-friendly, durable, long-lasting alternative to plastic made garment bags! ☺︎
We focus on using recycled products, such as rPET as we currently face the obstacle of overconsumption. With the life expectancy of plastic to be forever, we wanted our focal point to be using fabric and accessories that are made from 100% recycled plastic.

We wanted to try and avoid biodegradable and decomposable products, though sustainable, as it meant cooperating with 'overconsumption', as we consume 'new alternative products'. Our products are mainly created with recycled plastic which unless we alternatively use, it would never disappear and we would continuously consume in many ways.
We used U.K. based materials and productions to reduce our carbon footprint. With contributing to carbon footprint to a careful extent, we wanted to focus all of our attention on reducing plastic and giving back to green charity from our garment bags.

With our lifetime warranty, we hope to continuously renew & fix your already owned garment bag.
For the aim to lessen waste, we focused on using mainly recycled plastic and/or degradable products.
To create our version of a 'closed-loop' we wanted to give back 10% of your investment to a green charity picked by us, chosen by you.
We wanted it to feedback into increasing sustainable living around us, hence our version of a 'closed-loop', our life cycle.
The brand was named “echo” as ‘eco’ in English is phoneme e-cho when you pronounce it in Japanese.
This would be a nice way to include my cultural background into the brand.
Here, echo reflects the concept of doing something that echos through your life and the repetition of action caused by your change.
It is the eco-friendly echo that follows through from you to anyone who is around to hear it.
The garment bag purchase comes with a seed tag, which when put in water, grows into wildflowers.
This seed paper is produced by wildflowerpaper and the purchases help them give back to support bees, butterflies, and wildflowers! Also, customers planting this would be saving them too!
